Rue and Forsman Ranch cooking instructions:
1/2 cup of rice
1 cup of water or broth
1 1/2 teaspoon of butter or oil (optional)
Combine rice, water or broth, and butter or oil (optional) in a pot and bring to a boil. Cover with lid and reduce heat to low and cook for 40 minutes. Remove from heat (with lid on) and steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork. If rice is still not tender at the end of cooking time, it may be necessary to add 1-2 teaspoons liquid and cook longer. If prepared in rice cooker, use same water-rice ratio.
