Hello!Bulk was founded in 2018 by Jamaica Trinnaman, who had lost patience with the way we shopped for groceries. With over a decade of experience in the "natural grocery" world Jamaica took a leap on a new kind of store. One she had imagined for years and had begun seeing pop up in the UK and Canada....the "zero waste" store. A place where you could bring your own containers to shop and get the amount of product you actually wanted!
The 1st version of her market was in the back of a warehouse on the west side of SLC where it shared the space with a commissary kitchen. Here Hello!Bulk got its bearings, launched a successful Kickstarter and eventually made its way to a retail location.
Five years (and a pandemic) later, Hello!Bulk is trying something new. We're dipping our toe into the waters of online sales. We hope this allows us to cast a wider net for customers who are seeking a more conscientious way to shop.
